Haxton Returns to State Track
Zach Haxton added to his state medal collection this past week at the state track meet in Wichita by placing in the 3200m and 1600m runs. Haxton who medaled at the state cross country meet this past fall added 2 more state medals by placing 8th in both races this past weekend. He got to make the trip to state by running away from the regional field and winning both races at the Montezuma regional in near personal best times. The state 3200m run was held on Friday evening and Zach ran a personal best time of 10:42 to make the medal podium. The1600m was held the next afternoon and a personal best time of 4:46 was good enough for 8th place once again. Way to go Zach! WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!!
