Vineyard Earns All-Star Preps Award
Launch the media gallery 1 playerCora Vineyard, a junior at Argonia High School, has been named to the Topeka Capitol-Journal's All-Star Preps team for the 2017-2018 school year for her efforts in her volleyball season. She's been invited to attend the Inaugural All Star Preps Awards Banquet to be held at the Kansas Expocentre in June. The event includes dinner, awards presentation, and a special appearance by featured guest speaker basketball legend, Paul Pierce.
During her 2017 season, Cora was named SCBL All-League 1st team and All-State 1st team. She is a middle hitter/blocker for the Lady Raiders who also plays all the way around. She recorded the following stats this past season: a total of 335 kills with a .366 hitting% and 46.1 kill%, 72 blocks, 288 digs, and 30 aces with a 91.4 serving%. Congratulations Cora! You have made your family, team, school, and community SO PROUD!
