Dalton Morrison Wins "Raider of the Month" for April 2018
Launch the media gallery 1 playerDalton Morrison, a sixth grader at AHS, became the next “Raider of the Month” for April, 2018. The Activities/Athletics Department of Argonia Junior/Senior High School has decided to recognize one student a month who has demonstrated exceptional pride and integrity while competing in athletics or activities. Students are nominated by coaches and sponsors and, once a month, a student is chosen as “Raider of the Month.”
Dalton was chosen for the month of April after being nominated by Mr. Greenwood. He had this to say about Dalton:
“I would like to nominate Dalton Morrison. Dalton is a 6th grader that participates and excels in multiple activities. He is always pleasant to staff and students. He was also instrumental in the JH math club placing 3rd at the Caldwell Math Relays. Dalton took home two first place medals, a second place medal, and the 6th grade team he was part of took 2nd as well. Dalton does a great job of showing Raider Pride.”
The “Raider of the Month” is part of a renewed effort to build school pride. The student selected has their picture on a bulletin board along with comments from the coach or sponsor who nominated him or her. Look for a new student in May!!
