Argonia To Host the South Central Border League Junior High Basketball Tournament in February 2018.
Each year our league, the South Central Border League (SCBL), rotates host schools for the many different league tournaments we participate in. Argonia will host the 2017-18 junior high basketball tournament at the beginning of February. There are a total of four dates, February 1st, 3rd, 8th and 10th. This is a league event therefore we are required to charge admission. Adult admission is $3.00, and student admission is $2.00. The funds collected from the gates will help the league pay for officials and the plaques that are awarded to winning teams. Because this is a league tournament, and all of our league teams will be involved, we will not play in all the games or on every date. Our scheduled games will be determined by the brackets for the tournament. The tournament brackets are set based on each team's win/loss record, as a result the junior high SCBL tournament brackets will be set sometime in late January. Please watch the website and web calendar for updates on our game times and dates as the time draws closer.
