Jadyn Gallardo Wins Raider of the Month for November!

Jadyn Gallardo, an 8th grader at AJHS, became the next “Raider of the Month” for November, 2017.  The Activities/Athletics Department of Argonia Junior/Senior High School has decided to recognize one student a month who has demonstrated exceptional pride and integrity while competing in athletics or activities.  Students are nominated by coaches and sponsors and, once a month, a student is chosen as “Raider of the Month.” 

Jadyn was chosen for the month of November after being nominated by Lori Barnes and CayLee Koehler.  They had this to say about Jadyn:

“We would like to nominate Jadyn Gallardo for student of the month.  She is involved in volleyball, is a cheerleader, won the Argonia middle school Spelling Bee, is involved in 4H, works hard in class, is friendly to her fellow students and is always helpful.”

The “Raider of the Month” is part of a renewed effort to build school pride.  The student selected has their picture on a bulletin board along with comments from the coach, sponsor, or staff member who nominated him or her.  Look for a new student in December!!
