Zach Haxton Qualifies for State Cross Country Meet.
Launch the media gallery 1 playerArgonia junior, Zach Haxton will be running in the state cross country meet scheduled for Saturday October 28th at Wamego, KS. Zach qualified for the state meet last Saturday by placing 8th in the regional cross country meet held in Wichita. Jon Mead, who has been working with Zach this season, said “He ran a smart race and beat his personal record by 13 seconds.”
Zach ran the regular season with Caldwell High School in a cooperative agreement through the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA). He had a very successful regular season capturing the South Central Boarder League Champion title. In accordance with KSHSAA rules, Zach ran for Argonia in regionals and will run for Argonia in the state competition.
