"No Snow" Days
Each year the district calendar includes approximately ten built-in days to be used in the event that school needs to be cancelled for snow or other inclement weather. Due to the fact that we have not needed to use these days the last couple of years the school board has given us the flexibility to designate four days this spring to use as “No Snow” Days. We have selected four dates for students and teachers to be out of school. These dates will also extend weekend time for families.
The designated days for this school year are:
Friday, April 28
Monday, May 8
Monday, May 15
Friday, May 19
These will be NO SCHOOL days for students and teachers.
Cowley IDL College Classes will be conducted on these days as scheduled.
If you require assistance with childcare on these days, please contact the district office at 620-435-6311 and we will try to get you in touch with high school students who may be willing to provide babysitting services for the day.
