EARTH DAY 2015

Each year, the Title One class honors Earth Day by traveling down to Argonia River Park to pick up trash.  This was our 17th year of celebrating Earth Day.

Each year we talk about how important it is to take care of our Earth and things that we can do to help protect it.  The students came up with lots of great ways on how to do that.  The most popular answer was "recycling".  We talked about how you can recycle almost anything now.  The second most popular answer was to not waste water.  We talked about how we wasted water and we decided we could probably take shorter showers and not let the water run while brushing our teeth.

Happy Earth Day not only on April 22nd, but Happy Earth Day EVERYDAY!
