Help Argonia Raiders Win the KAKE TV "Mascot Mania Contest"!!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerKAKE TV is holding a contest beginning August 31, 2015, in which high school students, alumni, and fans across the KAKE viewing area can vote for their favorite high school mascot. Argonia has entered its Raider Mascot and encourages everyone to vote for the Raiders. You may vote once a day by visiting kake.com/sports/mascotmania.
The school that wins the most votes (weighted for population) will win bragging rights and a brand new mascot for their school, valued at approximately $3,500. This challenge or “contest” will run for 10 weeks. The winner will be announced in November. After October 9th the nominations will be narrowed down to the top 5 schools, one from each region. The winning school from each region will also receive a $1000 gift to their Athletic Department, courtesy of Parks Motors.
