Argonia Lady Raiders Win Border Queen Tournament

The Lady Raider Basketball Team defeated Central Burden 87-10 in the opening round of play at Caldwell on December 10th. The second game of the tournament found Argonia victorious over the Lady Eagles of Norwich 59-36. In the final game, Argonia outscored Caldwell 74-45 to capture the tournament championship. Four Lady Raiders were named to the All-Tournament Team: Davi Peetoom-Senior, Brooke Boatright-Junior, Ali Brewster-Junior, and Ashton Stansbury-Junior. Argonia will face Oxford and Goessel this week, prior to Christmas Break, and will return to play on January 5, 2010 in Pretty Prairie.
