Jr. High Musical set for March 14th
We’ve all got ‘em – troubles. What should you do when troubles come a’callin’? According to Sweet Sally (Devon Allen) at the “Tub and Scrub”, you just ‘Wash Your Troubles Away’ with your laundry. For more sage advice and to find out what troubles Sweet Sally needs to wash away, you can come watch the Jr. High Musical/Melodrama, “Wash Your Troubles Away” or . . .“Dirty Deeds Come Clean”.
Olympia Klenz (Laramie Greene) runs the successful Tub and Scrub laundry in the gold mining town of Digalittledeeper. Phineas Flatworm (Matthew Fitch) runs the not so successful Phineas Flatworm Asylum for Deserving Waifs and Strays Animals. His two cronies, Lola-Lola (Rachel Simon) and Mrs. Mugwump, his mother (Natalie Goertzen), join him in his efforts to scam the town in anyway possible to earn a dishonest dollar, exploiting the poor waifs (Shannon Neifert, Jaci Peetoom, CylieTopinka, Keela Blake, Taryn Loveland, Kayla Stringer and Lydia Swart) and sending them out to beg. Sheriff Jack B. Nimble (Shawn Lovelace) is on to him though and is watching him like a hawk. Can he keep Phineas from stealing the “Tub and Scrub”? Other cast members include Mayor Haggle (Justin Crenshaw), Ida (Ashley Rowan), and Coyote (Cody Johnson).
Come out and enjoy the show at 7:30 pm. Friday night, March 14th at the HS Gym. Tickets will be sold at the door at $1.00 for students and $2.00 for adults.
