Cooper Topinka Wins Raider of the Month for April 2021!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerCooper Topinka, a senior at AHS, became the next “Raider of the Month” for April, 2021. The Activities/Athletics Department of Argonia Junior/Senior High School has decided to recognize one student a month who has demonstrated exceptional pride and integrity while competing in athletics or activities. Students are nominated by coaches, sponsors and staff; once a month, a student is chosen as “Raider of the Month.”
Cooper, or “Coop” as he is also known, was chosen for the month of April after being nominated by Kelly Mock. She had this to say about Coop:
I would like to nominate Cooper for Raider of the month because he always helps out with anything we ask of him, and always with a smile! He comes over every day and sets up tables and chairs for us. We (the dietary dept) and our backs appreciate it so much! It is so fun to watch him interact with the youngest of our students while he is waiting. He always takes time to talk to them or just wave . . . which makes them so happy.
Coop recently finished up his senior season for the AHS basketball team.
The “Raider of the Month” is part of a renewed effort to build school pride. The student selected has their picture on a bulletin board along with comments from the coach, sponsor or staff who nominated him or her. Look for a new student in May!!
