New Argonia Jr/Sr High School Principal 20-21
Launch the media gallery 1 playerArgonia USD 359 is pleased to announce the new principal of Argonia Jr/Sr High School. Luke Greenwood will be taking over the principal duties in August, 2020. Mr. Greenwood will be completing his building licensure program through Ft. Hays State University and will be working under the direction of Argonia’s new Superintendent of Schools. The Argonia School Board is currently conducting a superintendent search and expects to have the position filled by the end of April.
The Argonia School Board Members feel that having Mr. Greenwood serve as an administrator in the district will be an asset to the new superintendent because of his knowledge of the community and staff. Luke was born and raised in Argonia, graduating from AHS in 2003. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Mathematics at Kansas State University and his Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology at Ft. Hays State University. He has been a 7-12 math teacher at Argonia High School since 2009. Mr. Greenwood will also continue serving as the A&A Titan Head Coach.
Luke and his wife Cass, who is also an Argonia math teacher, have two children and reside in Danville, KS.
