Argonia Winter Homecoming 2020

Argonia’s Winter Homecoming was held Friday, January 31st at Argonia High School. The theme for this year’s event was: There is No Place like Homecoming. The STUCO- led festivities began with class hall decorating in the afternoon. The Annual Homecoming Dodgeball Tournament took place in the gym, but not before the classes decorated sections of the hallway to celebrate the week.  Six teams competed to be on top, with the Yellow team coming out victorious in the end. The cheerleaders put on a great pep rally to finish off the afternoon activities.

The crowning of the king and queen took place at halftime of the boys’ game. The queen candidates were Hope Casner and Hayley Sprouse. The king candidates were Zach Doss, Isaiah Lacey,  and Josh Sandoval. The attendants were juniors Cooper Topinka and Aubreigh Haxton, sophomores Seth Drouhard and Tori Sandoval, and freshmen Ryder Ragan and Katelynn Grube. The flower girl was Sophie Scott and crown bearer was Weston Sanger.
