Mathletes Compete at League
SCBL HS Math Relays
Thirteen members of Argonia High School traveled to Elk Valley March 26th to compete in the SCBL Math Relays. The students competed in individual tests as well as three team tests. Medals are awarded to the top three and the top five earn points. Students earning medals and points were: Senior Zach Haxton - 2 fourth place finishes, Junior Hope Casner - 2 fourth places, 1 third place, and 1 second place, Sophomores, Noah Phillips - 2 fourth place finishes, Shelby Handlin - fifth place, Emma Huntley - third place, Aubreigh Haxton - first and second place, and Freshman Tori Sandoval - fourth place. The Geometry Team consisting of Noah Phillips, Judd Griffith, and Shelby Handlin placed 4th and the Algebra II Team consisting of Noah Phillips, Shelby Handlin, and Aubreigh Haxton placed 1st. All the students did a great job and represented Argonia well. Good Job Mathletes!
