Argonia’s Basketball Homecoming took place Friday, February 1, 2019 at Argonia High School. The STUCO-led festivities began with class hall decorating in the afternoon. After the hall decorating was finished, the annual Homecoming Dodgeball Tournament took place in the gym. Seven teams competed to be on top, with the Green team coming out victorious in the end. The cheerleaders put on an entertaining pep rally, which included the crowd being treated to watching two of their teachers, Mr. Greenwood and Miss Poljansek, getting a pie in their face.

The crowning of the king and queen took place at halftime of the boys’ game. The queen candidates were Makayla Derixson, Cydney Larson, and  Megan Loveland. The king candidate was Brant Cotta. The attendants were juniors Creek Love and Hayley Sprouse, sophomores Brayden Pierce and Destiny Baker, and freshmen Lucas Schulte and Alyssa Martin. The flower girl was Emma Taton and crown bearer was David Noland.
