Launch the media gallery 1 playerCome out and join us for an encore performance of Argonia’s first-ever Broadway Musical on Saturday, Nov. 23rd at 7:00 pm in the high school gym! Our school is seeing a couple of firsts with this production. We usually have had a musical performed by the junior high students in the past. This year produced such amazing actors with a handful of acting awards from forensics, the opportunity couldn’t be passed up to put on a musical with the high schoolers. If we’re going to start with a musical, why not make it a Broadway musical?!
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a Tony award-winning musical about a spelling bee put on for fourth graders and all the antics that follow. Each speller and adult have a backstory to fall in love with, while the music is catching and worth getting stuck in your head. Our cast consists of seven high schoolers and two staff members…you read that right, even our staff is getting in on this amazing venture!
Admission is $5 dollars at the door.
