The Arts Center Provides Art Packs to Argonia Elementary Students
The Arts Center has been providing art classes at Argonia Elementary School since the 18-19 school year. We are pleased to announce that the program will continue in the 19-20 school year.
This year The Arts Center received a grant through Art Feeds Community Assist. This means that Art Feeds National will be partnering with the Arts Center to provide curriculum made of lessons designed for expression and creativity. Art Feeds believes that all children are curious, imaginative, creative, innovative, and our greatest resource. To fuel these skills, Art Feeds partners with schools and children's organizations like The Arts Center to provide free expressive and creative arts programming. Each child in Argonia Elementary School received an Art Feeds Art Pack, a canvas tote filled with essential art supplies. Each student was given the tote to take home to allow students to continue creativity, expression, and exploration at home.
We appreciate the Argonia School Board for supporting the elementary art program and The Arts Center Director, Juliana Whisman, for providing this service to the students in Argonia!
