Craig Baldwin Wins Raider of the Month for May 2019

Craig Baldwin, a para-professional and long-term sub, became the next “Raider of the Month” for May, 2019.  The Activities/Athletics Department of Argonia Junior/Senior High School has decided to recognize one person a month who has demonstrated exceptional pride and integrity. Individuals are nominated by coaches and sponsors and, once a month, someone is chosen as “Raider of the Month.” 

            Craig was chosen for the month of May after being nominated by Mrs. Hurley and Mrs. Becker.  They had this to say about Craig:

Mrs. Becker and I nominate Craig Baldwin.  He is always willing to help wherever he can.  He has watched classrooms when subs could not be found sometimes at a moments notice because that is what was needed.  He helps students with everything from chromebook issues to homework to personal problems.  He really connects  with the students and they seem to love him, some students have even waited for Craig to be in the building to get help with assignments.    He is always happy and has a smile for everyone.  He has stayed for ballgames and supported various student organizations by purchasing food, magazines, and raffle tickets.  

The “Raider of the Month” is part of a renewed effort to build school pride.  The person selected has his or her picture on a bulletin board along with comments from the coach or sponsor who nominated him or her.  Look for a new student in August!!
