Destiny Wins Raider of the Month for April 2019!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerDestiny Baker, a sophomore at AHS, became the next “Raider of the Month” for April 2019. The Activities/Athletics Department of Argonia Junior/Senior High School has decided to recognize one student a month who has demonstrated exceptional pride and integrity while competing in athletics or activities. Students are nominated by coaches and sponsors and, once a month, a student is chosen as “Raider of the Month.”
Destiny was chosen for the month of April after being nominated by Mr. Gessleman. He had this to say about Destiny:
Destiny deserves to be student of the month. She has done outstanding work with our tribe helping with each activity and working with the youngsters. Destiny has maintained a high average in Geography and works with whoever she is paired with. Keep up the good work, glad to have you in tribe and class.
Destiny is a member of the AHS basketball team.
The “Raider of the Month” is part of a renewed effort to build school pride. The student selected has their picture on a bulletin board along with comments from the coach or sponsor who nominated him or her. Look for a new student in May!!
