Two Argonia Students Receive SCBL Academic All-League Award
Launch the media gallery 1 playerTwo AHS students were recently named to the SCBL Academic All-League Team. Brant Cotta and Baylee Booker, seniors at Argonia High School, each received this prestigious honor. To be eligible to receive this award, a student must be a senior in good standing, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, participate in a number of extra-curricular activities, and submit an application with a written essay explaining why he or she merits such recognition.
Only 12 boys and 12 girls throughout the league receive this honor, so in many years, only the top students who have participated in a many activities during their high school career earn a spot on the team. Both Baylee and Brant were recognized and awarded a medal before the SCBL girls championship game on January 18, 2019. Argonia is very proud of these two students as they positively represent the school and community!
