Hope Casner Elected as KAY Club Area 6 President
Hope Casner was elected to serve as the 2018-2019 KAY Club Area 6 President during the Regional Conference last week. The state of Kansas is spilt up into six sections to create different areas for KAY Club. Argonia is a part of Area 6 which covers south central Kansas. Hope was elected out of four candidates running for Area President.
Duties as Area 6 President include:
- Shall attend camp.
- Shall attend a training meeting of all area presidents and the state director following the Regional Conference.
- Shall be responsible for sending out at least 3 newsletters to the clubs in their area.
- Shall answer correspondence from local clubs and the state director.
- Shall give a 10 minute speech and preside over all general sessions at the following Regional Conference.
