Kaden Dickerson Wins Raider of the Month for October 2018
Launch the media gallery 1 playerKaden Dickerson, a tenth grader at AHS, became the next “Raider of the Month” for October, 2018. The Activities/Athletics Department of Argonia Junior/Senior High School has decided to recognize one student a month who has demonstrated exceptional pride and integrity while competing in athletics or activities. Students are nominated by coaches and sponsors and, once a month, a student is chosen as “Raider of the Month.”
Kaden was chosen for the month of October after being nominated by Mr. Mead. He had this to say about Kaden:
“I would like to nominate Kaden Dickerson for Raider of the Month. Kaden has been very helpful during our tribe times each week and is very good with the younger kids. He got hurt earlier last month and hasn't been able to play as much football but that hasn't changed his positive outlook and upbeat attitude. He is very respectful towards staff members and other classmates, he demonstrates what we are looking for in what it means to truly be a RAIDER! So for this reason I would like to nominate Kaden Dickerson for October's Raider of the Month!”
Kaden is currently is member of the AHS football team.
The “Raider of the Month” is part of a renewed effort to build school pride. The student selected has their picture on a bulletin board along with comments from the coach or sponsor who nominated him or her. Look for a new student in November!!
