Seniors Travel to OKC for Senior Trip

Great Time Had By All

Thirteen seniors from the Class of 2018 and their sponsors traveled to OKC on May 4th for their Senior Trip.  The seniors had a great time realizing this would be the last school activity that they would get to do together before they all head their separate ways.

The group met at AHS and left promptly at 7am. They stopped for breakfast at McDonalds along the interstate before arriving at the Oklahoma City Zoo around 10am.  They really enjoyed the exhibits and the beautiful weather.  For lunch, they headed to Toby Keith's in Bricktown to fill their bellies before their busy afternoon of activities.

After lunch, they went to Brickopolis and took in 18 holes of miniature golf. The top scorer was Trevor.  They also spent some time playing video games and several even rented segways to drive along the river walk.  Next, the seniors strapped on their seat belts and took in about 15 laps on the go-cart track.  It was a tight race between the guys, as Trevor once again came out on top, followed by Anthony and Kamden.

Elevation Trampoline was their next stop where most of the seniors spent about an hour jumping around.  They had a good time and everyone came away without any injuries!!  The final stop on the trip was at the Cheesecake Factory.  After a 1 1/2 hour wait, they took in their last meal together and finished it off with a huge piece of their favorite cheesecake.

Lights were out for most of them as they traveled back to AHS.  Mr. Greenwood, Mrs. Greenwood and Mr. Haxton would like to thank the seniors for allowing them to spend a day with the senior class.  Each of the sponsors were impressed with the seniors and appreciated being their sponsor for their senior year.  Congratulations to all of the seniors on a fabulous career at Argonia High School!!
