Chase Rhea Wins Raider of the Month for May 2018
Launch the media gallery 1 playerChase Rhea, a ninth grader at AHS, became the next “Raider of the Month” for May, 2018. The Activities/Athletics Department of Argonia Junior/Senior High School has decided to recognize one student a month who has demonstrated exceptional pride and integrity while competing in athletics or activities. Students are nominated by coaches and sponsors and, once a month, a student is chosen as “Raider of the Month.”
Chase was chosen for the month of May after being nominated by Mr. Mead. He had this to say about Chase:
“I would like to nominate Chase Rhea for Raider of the Month. Chase has worked very hard all track season without missing a single practice, meet or event. He has been a positive influence on our track team supporting all his teammates during their events. He has gone above and beyond what we have asked of him by volunteering to do different events so he has an opportunity to go to each track meet. He has excelled both on the track and in the classroom this spring. I'm very proud of you Chase! Keep up the Good Work!!”
The “Raider of the Month” is part of a renewed effort to build school pride. The student selected has their picture on a bulletin board along with comments from the coach or sponsor who nominated him or her. Look for a new student in September!!
