Family Night - A Chinese New Year
Launch the media gallery 1 playerElementary students and their families participated in our second Family Night on Thursday, February 15th. The theme for this event was A Chinese New Year.
Students and their families participated in games and activities, nutrition education, made a craft, read a story and everyone ended the evening by having a family meal of chicken stir fry, egg rolls, and fruit.
These family night events are made possible through Wellness grants from Blue Cross Blue Shield and the Kansas Nutrition Council. We appreciate all the parents who bring their children out to enjoy some family time, physical activities, nutrition education, reading, crafts, and a delicious meal.
Our next Family Night event will be a “Quattro de Mayo” on Friday, May 4th. Please watch backpacks for the Invitation and RSVP. We would love the opportunity to involve more families!
