Argonia’s Winter Homecoming 2018 took place Friday February 16th at Argonia High School. The Homecoming activities started off with the annual Homecoming Dodgeball Tournament in the gym. It was a fun and competitive event with the Red team coming out victorious in the end for the 2nd year in a row. The cheerleaders put on one of the loudest pep rally’s the school has ever had, which included a dance off competition between the senior basketball players. The crowning of the king and queen took place at halftime of the boys’ game. The queen candidates were Catie Hammond, Leah Fitch, and Cassidy Boese. The king candidates were Micah Carter, Haden Craig, and Gio Hernandez. The flower girl was Branwen Barnett and the crown bearer was Bentley Specht.  The 2018 Argonia Winter Homecoming King and Queen were Micah Carter and Catie Hammond.
