Homecoming 2017

On Friday Oct 13th Argonia hosted the Kiowa County Mavericks for their 2017 fall homecoming game.  The classes competed in a poster contest and also street painting in front of the high school.  STUCO provided pizza and drinks for lunch.  Following the street painting and poster contest the cheerleaders put on an eventful homecoming Pep Rally which included a dancing/lip sync competition with classes 9-12 performing for the Elementary and Junior High students. PTO then held the annual Soup Supper and Elementary Open House at the elementary school.  Trevor Pierce and Alyssa Hammond were crowned Homecoming King and Queen at the traditional ceremony.  The A&A Titans came out on top 52-6, to improve their record to 6-1 overall.

The other Senior Candidates were: Anthony Handlin and Madalynn Rhea, and Kamden Basinger and Kaylee Schulte. Junior attendants were Zach Haxton and Cora Vineyard, Sophomore attendants were Creek Love and Hayley Sprouse, and the Freshman attendants were Gage Dewlen and Shelby Handlin. The flower girl was Haddie Griffith and the crown bearer was Kristian Calderon.
