Raider Prints Open For Business
On February 13, 2017 the Argonia School Board approved the new student operated business called Raider Prints. Raider Prints will design, cut, and market decals and t-shirts with vinyl. The work will be done by the entrepreneurship class during 3rd hour. The members include Amber Webster, Alyssa Hammond, Caitlyn Hammond, Haily Gaddis, Kaylee Schulte, and Leah Fitch with Mr. Haxton as the supervisor. The bookkeeping will be done by the 4th hour Accounting class, which includes Courtney Larson and Jesse Tracy.
Raider Prints sent a grant letter to the Kansas Star Casino to ask for their assistance in purchasing the equipment to start the business. Upon review, the All-Star Board of Directors agreed to pay for all the equipment and supplies. Raider Prints will get a vinyl cutter, software to run the machine, and a heat press. The business class will have red, white, and black as the main colors with the option to get other colors upon request. All the students are very excited about the new business and are willing to work hard to keep the business running throughout the years to follow.
