Environmental Science Class Project
The Environmental Science class has joined with other students from Germany and other countries to plant trees to help cut back the amount of carbon dioxide in the air and to help with soil conservation. We have been studying the importance of trees, how to test the soil for nutrients beneficial for trees, and the proper way to plant and care for trees.
If anyone would like to buy small trees and have the trees planted, the class would like to participate and help you get your young trees in the ground. We have helped a few people plant windbreaks around their homes and we are looking for other places to plant new trees or transplant young trees.
If interested call Argonia High School at 620-435-6611 or call Mr. Neal at 620-845-0399 and we will work out a schedule. You can plant trees in any month that has a r in its name.
