Winter Homecoming 2017
Argonia’s Winter Homecoming 2017 took place Friday February 10th at Argonia High School. The STUCO fed the student body D’Mario’s pizza for lunch which then led into the afternoon activities beginning with the class hall decorating.
After the hall decorating was finished, the annual Homecoming Dodgeball Tournament took place in the gym. It was a fun and competitive event with the Red team coming out victorious in the end. The cheerleaders put on a GREAT pep rally which included a synchronized diving skit performed by the high school boys’ basketball team.
The crowning of the king and queen took place at halftime of the boys’ game. The queen candidates were, Jaylynne Baker, Courtney Larson, and Marie Barth. The king candidates were Kelly Mosher and Malachi Hodges. The flower girl was Piper Kollmeyer and the crown bearer was Easton Simon The 2017 Argonia Winter Homecoming King and Queen were Malachi Hodges and Courtney Larson.
