WILD about CHEER!
This year’s Argonia Spirit Spreader was WILD about CHEER! There were a total of 31 little cheerleaders, grades Pre-K – 5th grade, that participated in this year’s spirit spreader. The girls had practice 3 different times after school with the high school cheerleaders and practiced on their own numerous times during recess. Their hard work definitely paid off for their performance as they rocked their cheers, dance routines, and cartwheels! The girls were able to perform at the high school pep rally that was held at the end of the day Friday to get nerves and jitters out before their big performance at halftime of the Varsity boys game that night. The girls started the performance off with cartwheels and round offs while the band played “Timber” by Pitbull ft. Kesha. Then they showed off a dance to Go Big Red that the band played as well, followed by 2 cheers. To really showcase their cheer/dance talents, they ended the performance with a dance to “Me Too” by Meghan Trainor that showed sass and energy! The spirit spreader is always an energetic time of the school year, allowing girls to show off their cheer skills to family and friends. It was such an unforgettable night and an amazing job was done by all of our future Argonia cheerleaders!
