Trevor Pierce Wins "Raider of the Month" for November!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerTrevor Pierce, a 10th Grader at AHS, became the next “Raider of the Month” for November, 2015. The Activities/Athletics Department of Argonia High School has decided to recognize one student a month who has demonstrated exceptional pride and integrity while competing in athletics or activities. Students are nominated by coaches and sponsors and, once a month, a student is chosen as “Raider of the Month.”
Trevor was chosen for the month of November after being nominated by Mr. Greenwood. He had this to say about Trevor:
“I would like to nominate Trevor Pierce for Raider of the Month. Trevor is a hard worker both in the classroom as well as on the football field even when things aren't easy. He rarely complains and is the type of student that is willing to try and do whatever is asked of him. Trevor also gives rides to his fellow teammates to get them to and from practice. He also shows school pride by cheering on the lady raider volleyball team and the junior high athletics. Trevor is also a hard worker outside of school where he works on his Grandpa's farm.”
The “Raider of the Month” is part of a renewed effort to build school pride. The student selected has their picture on a bulletin board along with comments from the coach or sponsor who nominated him or her. Look for a new student in December!!
