A Little Bit of Country

Prom 2015 was an enjoyable time as nearly 30 Argonia juniors and seniors and their dates celebrated "A Little Bit of Country".  The evening began with Junior President Dalton Good welcoming all attendees, sponsors, administrators, school board members, and faculty.  Madison Streif prayed over the meal and then everyone enjoyed an excellent dinner consisting of beef brisket, pork, potatoes, green beans, and apple crisp.  Mr. and Ms. Argonaut were then announced.  Andrew Mages and Rebekah Fitch read their winning speeches.  Austin Tracy and Rebekah Fitch read the class wills and Ashley DeHoff and Faith Gaddie read the class prophecies.  Senior President Faith Gaddie then thanked the junior class for everything they had done for prom.  The dance officially started as all of the students moved to the dance floor for nearly three hours of dancing.  Many memorable pictures were taken and lots of fun was had by all.  At 11:30 p.m., students loaded the bus for after-prom, which was held at the YMCA in Wichita.  Many wonderful gifts were given to those that attended the after-prom. Snacks were provided and the students spent time swimming, playing basketball, jumping on the trampoline, playing raquetball, shooting pool, and playing ping pong.  The night safely came to an end shortly after 4:30 a.m.  Thanks goes out to all of the junior class sponsors who organized prom and the junior parents who organized after-prom.
