JH Boys Basketball
This season the Indians have a roster of 16 boys, including 9 sixth graders, four 7th graders, and three 8th grade boys. We opened the season with an away game at Oxford. With a score of 6-3 ending the first quarter the Indians were in the game. Oxford came out hot the second quarter and outscored Argonia 13-2. The Indians would then pick up the defense again in the third quarter holding Oxford to just four points and scoring 2 points. The fourth quarter would be much of the same with Oxford scoring 6 points and Argonia scoring 5. Most of the game was close except for the big second quarter by Oxford. The Indians would lose by a score of 31-14. Scoring for the Indians were, Riley-6, Brayden-2, Noah-5, and Christian-3. We would then travel and take on a good Caldwell team. The Bluejays were too much for the Indians to handle handing them their second loss by a score of 49-6. Scoring for Argonia were, Riley-2, Kaden-2, and Noah with 2 points. Next we would host South Haven. The Cardinals would win the first quarter by a score of 5-4. The Indians would then outscore South Haven 10-8 in the second quarter going into half with a score of 14-13 Indians. The next two quarters were decided by one point each. The Indians played very hard but came up one point short at the final buzzer losing by a score of 32-31. Scoring for the Indians were, Riley-6, Brayden-1, Kaden-4, Noah-6, Zach-12, Christian-1, Gage-1.
