Argonia Elementary Bowl for Kids' Sake Event
Students Raise over $1,300 for BBBS!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerArgonia Elementary students participated in a bowling unit in PE class which included a fundraiser for BBBS. The elementary bowlers earned prizes based on the money they raised. All students raising at least $15 earned a small bowling trophy and students raising at least $75 earned a bowling themed paddle ball game. $100 prizes included a pizza and ice cream party along with a free recess and those raising at least $150 were awarded a BBBS T-shirt in their choice of KU, K-State, or WSU. Grant and Jed were our top fundraisers. Grant chose a KU t-shirt and Jed chose a K-State t-shirt. The total amount raised this year was $1,308.53. All the money raised goes to the Sumner County BBBS to help support our Bigs in School Program.
