The Argonia preschoolers have had a busy Fall. In October we visited the fire station. The class learned what to do in case of an emergency and how to stop, drop, and roll. We got to ride on the fire truck back to school. In October we also visited Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch. The students each got to pick out their own pumpkin and were entertained by a real scarecrow! For Thanksgiving we made turkey handprint placemats, Indian headbands and Indian necklaces. We learned lots of Thanksgiving songs and sang them at the Chikaskia Manor.
We have been busy in the classroom too. So far we’ve learned our letters from A-J and numbers 0-9. We have learned several nursery rhymes, colors and shapes. Next we will be starting Christmas projects. We can hardly wait for Christmas to get here!
