Veterans Day Thank You
The first graders shared this poem at the Veterans Day program.
Veterans Day is here.
It’s November 11th of every year.
It’s a perfect time to say,
"Thanks for protecting the USA".
The army protects us on land; the navy works at sea.
The air force works from the sky to protect you and me.
That’s not all, though; there are more.
There are marines, and then the coast guard protects our shore.
So if you see a soldier; be sure to smile and say,
“Our nation is very grateful on this Veterans Day!”
