Red Raiders down Elk Valley

Friday night the Argonia Red Raiders beat Elk Valley 71-38 on Homecoming 2010.
The Raiders jumped to a 12-1 lead with 4:18 remaining in the first quarter. At the end of the quarter AHS was leading 23-5.
By half time the Red Raiders had extended the lead to 43-19. The boys outscored Elk Valley in all four quarters of play.
Leander Greene led the way with 22 points on nine field goals, one being a three pointer, and shooting three for three from the line.
The Red Raiders shot 16-25 from the line while Elk Valley was 7-18 from the stripe.
The Red Raiders will travel to West Elk on February 5 and to South Haven February 9.
The next home game for the teams will be February 12 against Central Burden.
