FIRST FAMILY READING NIGHT OF THE NEW YEAR

What a great turnout we had for our first Family Reading Night of the brand new year. Students and their families started out the evening by cutting out snowflakes and then decorating them. Thank you to the 1st graders who helped me demonstrate - what great teachers they were!
After finishing our awesome snowflakes, everyone was treated to hot chocolate topped with fluffy marshmallows and a yummy smores dessert - thank you Mrs. Blake and Mrs. Tracy for making it for us. It was delicious!!! Also a big thank you to all of you who helped out - I think we'll be seeing glitter around school for quite some time.
Our next Family Reading Night will be on April 26th as we close out the school year. I always look forward to seeing everyone at our reading nights. Seeing you read with your children/grandchildren is such a wonderful sight.
