Argonia Health Fair

On October 15 Argonia students in grades K-8 participated in a Health Fair. Health Fair activities included proper handwashing techniques, bus safety, pedestrian safety, playground safety obstacle course, spinal checks, height and weight and blood pressure checks, fingerprinting, seatbelt relay, Wheel of Fortune game, nutritious snacks, and a diabetes check for the older students.
We would like to thank
everyone who made this event possible: Sandra Owens and the
Harper Hospital Staff, Wendy Booker-spinal checks, Becky
Mendoza-fingerprinting, Julie Paxson-blood pressure checks, Rhonda
Lusk with the Via Christi Safe Kids Van, and the many school staff
members who supervised stations and students. We also want to
send out a special thanks to the Chicaskia Health Care District for
sponsoring the event and for coming to help supervise the stations
