Lady Raiders Continue to Win

The Argonia Lady Raider Basketball Team posted 3 wins last week against Caldwell 58-22 , Elk Valley 103-26 and West Elk 82-17.  The total team effort has been tremendous and the student-athletes are improving with each game. Throughout the 3 games, Argonia combined for 123 rebounds, 77 steals, 63 assists, and shot 42% from the field. The Lady Raiders connected on 12 of 35 three point shots, and have improved on their free throw percentage, making 51 of 70 for 73%. All Lady Raiders have scored, and seven players have scored in double figures – Brandi Daerr, Morgan Tracy, Ali Brewster, Jaci Peetoom, Davi Peetoom, Ashton Stansbury, and Brooke Boatright. In the Junior Varsity contests, Morgan, Jaci, and Shannon Neifert have posted double digit scoring in victories over Caldwell 53-29 and West Elk 43-21. The Varsity record stands at 16-0 and the Junior Varsity record is 9-0. We are rounding out regular season play this week and next, with games against South Haven in South Haven on Tuesday, Central at home on Friday, and Sedan at home on Saturday. February 19^th, we will face Cedar Vale/Dexter at home. Thank you for your continued support of our teams!
