On May 21st the Argonia 4th graders walked to the Argonia Salter Museum to learn about Susanna Madora Salter and other interesting historical facts about our town and how things were back in the 1800s. The girls were very attentive listeners and were very interested in learning about all of the artifacts found in the museum. We also toured through the antiques and mineral and rock collection found in the old Baptist Church behind the museum. We all really enjoyed looking at everything and learning about our town’s history. We would like to thank Mary Beth Bookless and Verna Lee Coleman for giving us a fantastic tour.
