State Music Festival

The Spring semester has been filled with many music events. A few of these events are league, regional and state music festivals. Schools may take large ensembles, small ensembles and solos. Small ensembles or solos must qualify at a regional music festival by receiving a I rating to move on to state competition. Krista Neifert and Lindsay Drouhard qualified this year for the State Music Festival held on Saturday, April 26th at Stucky Middle School in Wichita, Kansas. Krista took an alto saxophone solo and Lindsay took a vocal solo. They both received I ratings after a long semester of working hard on their solos. Great job girls!!
