Janis Kiser gave an update on the Box Tops Program. She is still
receiving several and the deadline for this school year to reach
the goal is approaching. She will send out a reminder to the
parents and put an article in the paper along with names of those
supporting the program that don’t have children in the school
district.
The Second Grade bake sale will be held February 29, 2008.
Sarah Vineyard gave an update on the Soup Labels. We received 100
points for signing up with 427 Labels collected so far. The school
can earn 2000 bonus points each school year by submitting paper
work for various health related activities. Body Walk, Jump Rope
for Heart, etc.
Every class has a party leader for the Valentine’s Day parties.
The Argonia PTO Skate Nights that are held on the first Monday of
the month in Harper have been successful. We will check with Jean
on the exact amount and if they will wait until the end of the year
to send the proceeds.
Dr. Dolley reported that they have not been able to reach the
Alaska presenter.
There was discussion on having a fun night this year. It was
decided that we will not have a fun night this year and we will try
to keep it to every other year. We might be able to incorporate
some games into the Box Tops party.
